Second Edition of Virgil's 'Aeneid' to be translated by William Morris.

'Aeneid' is an epic poem, written between 29 and 19 BC, following the legend of Aeneas, a Trojan who fled the fall of Troy and travelled to Italy, where he became the ancestor of the Romans.

Translated by William Morris, who stated that he approached his translation work with a unique view as "a poet not a pedant".

William Morris was a noted Victorian textile designer, artist, and poet, largely associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement, and the Pre-Raphaelite movement. He was one of the most significant cultural figures of the century.
