The Blue Book is an essential tool for steel designers, giving section properties and member capacities in tabular form for use in design to BS 5950-1:2000. The amendments to BS 5950-1 have resulted in significant technical changes to the rules to which steelwork is designed. This has resulted in numerous changes to member capacities and resistances.
